Art Shield is committed to supporting Ukrainian theater and the livelihoods of those committed to the theater community. The mission of Art Shield is to raise funds to pay the salaries of the artistic and managerial staff at theaters which will help them produce plays and bring audiences back to the theater. This organization also seeks to create a vibrant collaboration between international and Ukrainian talent, staging shows and productions in Ukraine in defiance of the war. Theater is a large part of Ukrainian culture, and Art Shield hopes to revive and preserve this integral aspect of Ukrainian life.
